Artist’s statement:
My goal is to paint and sell fabulous art to people who love it. Reconnection between self and nature summarizes my work. I hope the viewer will hesitate when running by one of my paintings and say, “Hey, why is there a pear on her head?” Or, “what is that bird whispering in her ear?” My figures, landscapes and still life piantings are infused with color. This is because there is more green in a stem, more sweetness in a plumb, and more red in a bud than we notice. I want viewers to taste their cucumbers, listen to the tulips away, and look at the ants on their sidewalk with enthusiasm.
