| Linda Etherington graduated in Fine Art – Painting from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. She is active in painting the life around her. She is the mother of seven girls and currently resides in Summit, New Jersey.
Artist’s statement:
My goal is to paint and sell fabulous art to people who love it.
Reconnection between self and nature summarizes my work. I hope the viewer will hesitate when running by one of my paintings and say, “Hey, why is there a pear on her head?” Or, “what is that bird whispering in her ear?”
My figures, landscapes and still life piantings are infused with color. This is because there is more green in a stem, more sweetness in a plumb, and more red in a bud than we notice.
